Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO Heritage Site, is a 430 square kilometer area sprinkled with elephant-grass meadows, swampy lagoons, and dense forests. It is home to more than 2200 Indian one-horned rhinoceros, approximately 2/3rd of their total world population. The park is located in the edge of the Eastern Himalayan biodiversity hotspots – Golaghat and Nagaon district.

.The Kaziranga National Park offers Jeep safari and Elephant safari for the wildlife sighting in the Kaziranga forest. The Jeep can carry a maximum of 6 people while an elephant can carry a maximum of 4 people. The entry permit for Jeep Safari is available on the per-Jeep basis while the permit for elephant safari is available on the per-seat basis. All the four zones have its unique landscape and are enriched with the variety of wildlife so there is no such thing as good zone and bad zone when it comes to the wildlife sighting. The prime wild animals of this park- Rhinoceros, Indian Elephant, Tiger, Water Buffalo and Swamp Deer along with other wildlife are equally found in each zone and you will get a good sighting of wildlife during your safari.
